There are 29 one-bedroom and 30 studios all equipped with kitchens and bathrooms. The units offer views of Downtown Seattle and the surrounding mountains. The Baroness was converted from a traditional apartment building into a hotel in 1966 and caters primarily to people who are visiting Seattle for medical treatment. An elegant lobby and reception area welcomes residents to the 1930s classic brick luxury building. The main floor includes a 2,200 square foot office space added in 1968 to accommodate the need for medical space in the immediate area.
The Baroness is a six story building constructed with reinforced concrete rests on a 7,200 sq ft lot zoned high-rise. The building is serviced by an updated elevator and also offers updated plumbing, heating and electrical systems. A central broiler heating system provides the primary heat and all corner units have auxiliary electric baseboard heating. The building also has a commercial laundry facility.
